To provide excellent short-term rust protection against moisture and humidity when shipping steel, iron, or cast-iron parts, simply wrap them in Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor coated paper or film.
The paper/film is coated with chemicals that continuously vaporize to insulate sensitive parts against moisture and humidity. VCI eliminates the need to create an airtight package.

Humidity Indicator Card to Monitor your Desiccant
Here is a quick, easy test to see if your desiccant is working inside a sealed package or closed space. Simply pack one of these cards in with the contents and desiccant. Then examine the card on arrival at destination or periodically during storage.
Any color change from blue to pink indicates an unsealed container or a high level of humidity.

Semi-Automatic Label Dispenser
Label dispensers offer the ability to quickly transfer printed labels onto various products or packaging without the time expense of manually peeling off individual labels. This means that the primary purpose of a label dispenser is to peel back each label from the backing or lining for easy removal and application. While there are manual label dispensers that can achieve this, a semi-automatic label dispenser can increase productivity by automating the wheel so that there’s always a new label ready to go. Using a sensor, the wheel will start and stop so that each label is easily accessible and can be applied quickly to move products or packages through the distribution process.

Semi-automatic label dispensers can manage labels up to around 6 inches in width and offer a practical solution for either roll or fan-folded labels. Pistol Grip Label Applicator

Box Strapping Tools and Accessories
Polypropylene Strapping
This powerful strapping, 1/2″ wide, extremely hard, probably impossible, to rip. The black waffled strapping comes in 9,000-foot rolls, and the white, smooth finish in 7,200-foot rolls.
1/2″ Tensioner
This tool tightens the strapping around packages and holds the ends together in an overlaid position for easy sealing or buckling.
Crimper and Metal Seals
The 1/2″crimper bends a metal seal around the overlaid ends of 1/2″ strapping and then crimps the metal for a permanent hold.
Corner Protectors
These plastic protectors keep package strapping from cutting into carton edges as well as from shifting or sliding.
Hand-Pull Tool
A hand-pull tool performs the same function as a tensioner in tightening strapping. While offering somewhat less tightening power, it serves as a cost-effective alternative for the low-volume shipper.
Hand Cart
Of sturdy metal construction, this cart accommodates all 8″ and 16″ I.D. core size rolls of strapping and has a handy compartment for tools and accessories.
Buckles
Here is an alternative to metal seals that eliminates the need for a crimper. Buckles take a bit longer than seals but should be adequate if your shipping or unitizing volume is low.

Light Duty Portable Poly Bag Heat Sealers
This portable heat sealer is perfect for sealing small polyethylene bags (six inches and under) It is ideal for use in production line sealing. This heat sealer mounts anywhere, and can be either hand or foot operated.
It features a sealing bar to make it a snap to seal small or bulky packages and most poly bags.
Poly Tubing Impulse Heat Sealer & Cutter

Deluxe Bench Mountable Polyethylene, Cellophane and Barrier Bag Heat Sealer
This tough metal, heavy-duty sealer includes a foot pedal and can be bench-mounted. (An optional adjustable stand is sold separately). Its tamper-evident seals are equal in quality to those of more costly heat sealing methods. An accurate thermostat controls sealing temperatures, and jaws heat evenly. Choose from three jaw styles according to your sealing needs: Teflon, for poly bags; serrated, for cellophane bags; plain, for barrier bags.

High Volume, Large Poly Bag Impulse Heat Sealer
Ideal for use on production lines, this fast impulse heat sealer works on most thin and thick plastic materials, including many laminates. Hand or foot operated, the heat sealer makes liquid and airtight band-type seals. It has Teflon coated sealing elements and a reliable pneumatic time/temperature control. The heat sealer heats up immediately.
