Problem Solving & Consulting

LPS has worked closely with its customers for over 50 years to develop innovative and cost effective customized solutions for their packaging challenges. Whether the task is to develop stronger, lighter packaging, better barrier properties or features to enhance security, convenience or the overall consumer experience, LPS has the knowledgeable and skilled resources to solve the problem.

As a vertically integrated manufacturer, LPS is able to deliver the required combination of creative, technical and manufacturing resources to support each customer’s specific needs. The “total solution under one roof” is what differentiates LPS from the typical flexible packaging manufacturer.

Our success is a direct result of our customers’ satisfaction and we’re comfortable and confident in our ability to support your needs for speed-to-market and brand growth. From start ups to multinationals, our processes are designed to support reasonable minimums and realistic turnarounds

We understand that it can be a daunting task for our customers to evaluate the multitude of packaging options to find the right one to protect and promote their products. The team at LPS thrives on challenges and unlike other manufacturers that try to “force a fit” into their stock products, we’re proud of the fact that we can point to a long history of success stories developing timely, cost-effective, customized solutions that are designed to solve the specific challenge.

Examples of LPS success stories for products that are now used everyday around the world include developing:

  • One of the very first reclosable foil pouches with a hermetic seal, used to package larger quantities and concurrently reduce the unit cost to the customer of gel coated EKG pads produced by an international medical supply company

  • A laminated medical mailer, created in conjunction with a major pharma company and the USPS, to securely protect at home tests in the postal system when mailed by the patient to the lab

  • The DOT 8249 exemption package, designed in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Transportation and an international shipper, for safe and secure transport of toxic and corrosive chemicals via common carrier
