Production Planner/Scheduler

Ensure timely creation, release, and maintenance of all work orders through tracker and scheduler programs.

Ensure accurate and timely entry of labor hours, material issues and WIP’s against orders.

Devleop reports supportive of production performance evaluation. Maintain the B.O.M. for all stock and quasi stock items.Overall responsibility for accuracy of raw and finished goods inventory. Resolve and record all discrepancies.Conduct physical inventory counts as required. Ensure cycle counts are conducted to promote accurate inventories between physical counts. Establish and monitor the production schedule for all orders.

Quality Assurance Technician

We are currently looking for a QA/QC Tech who will be responsible for verifying product compliance to customer and/or LPS Industries specifications prior to shipment. Documentation of findings, filing and maintenance of records. Notification of discrepancies to appropriate person. Material testing. ISO experience helpful but will train. Some lab experience preferred. One to two years experience in QA/QC functions in the converting industry. Knowledge of statistics. Plant Engineer

B.S. in Engineering or related technical field. Hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting; control systems and programming; repair and maintenance of plant systems. Practical knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. Experience in an automated manufacturing environment with a focus on driving operating (process and equipment) improvements. Converting, printing or packaging experience preferred but not required. Strong hands-on skills in problem solving and troubleshooting with a strong focus on execution. Extensive experience with machine design, automation and the use of programmable logic controllers (PLC’s). Self-motivated and responsible with mature judgment and initiative. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), and the ability to work with all levels of suppliers, customers, management and production staff. Provide total engineering leadership and support to Company’s 24/5 production facility. Drive operating improvements through changes and upgrades in equipment design, equipment layout and processing capabilities. Develop capital plans and lead efforts from concept through completion to estimate, specify, design and control capital improvement and major modification/overhaul projects. Estimator

We are currently seeking an Estimator with a Customer Service background, flexible packaging experience a plus, to look at customer job specifications and determine pricing for customer quotes. Responsibilities also include acting as primary liaison and problem solver with customers, working with Purchasing to handle division related Purchasing, consult with Production Supervisor on order scheduling, stay up to date on all inventory levels. Cost Accountant

Candidate needs 10 years of cost accounting experience in a multi product manufacturing environment. Must be able to “jump right in” and use your “take charge” personality. Should be detail oriented and a problem solver. Be experienced in creating multi level Bills of Material and analyzing profit margins on individual products.
