Customer Account Manager

Respond to verbal and written customer inquiries, develop product requirements, and calculate manufacturing costs and pricing. Review orders, purchase materials and services required to manufacture finished products. Expedite orders to meet customer requirements.

Review Inquiries for required information and to determine if product line fits our manufacturing capabilities. Review and understand technical specification. Formalize quote and provide written or verbal quotation to customer. Follow up on quotations and customer orders. Review orders for accuracy and technical specifications. Expedite orders through manufacturing and outside processes to meet customer requirements and company commitments. Handle all customer contact related to inquiries, orders, delivery, or quality issues.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; we will consider a lesser education with commensurate experience.3 to 5 years experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment, or flexible packaging experience a plus.Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have excellent math skills.Ability to multi-task, attention to detail. Good work habits, with willingness to do what is required to take care of the customer. Purchasing Agent

Responsibilities include general purchasing of raw materials and finished goods used by various departments. Coordinate deliveries and material specifications with Production and Sales as well as vendors. Relay input from Production and Sales about product quality and performance. Report market changes and price increases to Sales, Accounting, and Production.

Must have ability to negotiate with vendors. Offer assistance to various departments relating to materials purchased. Review and requisition manufacturing orders to replenish stock items.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work independently. Must have computer literacy and math competency. Proven organizational skills. A background in purchasing systems a plus. Please send resume to bsenzer@lpsind.com.

Production Planner/Scheduler

Ensure timely creation, release, and maintenance of all work orders through tracker and scheduler programs.

Ensure accurate and timely entry of labor hours, material issues and WIP’s against orders.

Develop reports supportive of production performance evaluation. Maintain the B.O.M. for all stock and quasi stock items.Overall responsibility for accuracy of raw and finished goods inventory. Resolve and record all discrepancies.Conduct physical inventory counts as required. Ensure cycle counts are conducted to promote accurate inventories between physical counts. Establish and monitor the production schedule for all orders.

Quality Assurance Technician

We are currently looking for a QA/QC Tech who will be responsible for verifying product compliance to customer and/or LPS Industries specifications prior to shipment. Documentation of findings, filing and maintenance of records. Notification of discrepancies to appropriate person. Material testing. ISO experience helpful but will train. Some lab experience preferred. One to two years experience in QA/QC functions in the converting industry. Knowledge of statistics. Plant Engineer

B.S. in Engineering or related technical field. Hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting; control systems and programming; repair and maintenance of plant systems. Practical knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. Experience in an automated manufacturing environment with a focus on driving operating (process and equipment) improvements. Converting, printing or packaging experience preferred but not required. Strong hands-on skills in problem solving and troubleshooting with a strong focus on execution. Extensive experience with machine design, automation and the use of programmable logic controllers (PLC’s). Self-motivated and responsible with mature judgment and initiative. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), and the ability to work with all levels of suppliers, customers, management and production staff. Provide total engineering leadership and support to Company’s 24/5 production facility. Drive operating improvements through changes and upgrades in equipment design, equipment layout and processing capabilities. Develop capital plans and lead efforts from concept through completion to estimate, specify, design and control capital improvement and major modification/overhaul projects. Cost Accountant

Candidate needs 10 years of cost accounting experience in a multi product manufacturing environment. Must be able to “jump right in” and use your “take charge” personality. Should be detail oriented and a problem solver. Be experienced in creating multi level Bills of Material and analyzing profit margins on individual products.
