Director of Engineering

B.S. in Engineering or related technical field. Hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting; control systems and programming; repair and maintenance of plant systems. Practical knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. Experience in an automated manufacturing environment with a focus on driving operating (process and equipment) improvements. Converting, printing or packaging experience preferred but not required. Strong hands-on skills in problem solving and troubleshooting with a strong focus on execution. Extensive experience with machine design, automation and the use of programmable logic controllers (PLC's). Self-motivated and responsible with mature judgment and initiative. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), and the ability to work with all levels of suppliers, customers, management and production staff. Provide total engineering leadership and support to Company’s 24/5 production facility with functional responsibility for maintenance team, including Maintenance Manager and hourly technicians. Drive operating improvements through changes and upgrades in equipment design, equipment layout and processing capabilities. Develop capital plans and lead efforts from concept through completion to estimate, specify, design and control capital improvement and major modification/overhaul projects. Director of Marketing

We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager who will institute and coordinate marketing functions for all three of LPS’ divisions (Flexible Packaging, Coated Products and General Packaging) including advertising, promotions, market research and development. In conjunction with the sales forecast determine target markets, develop a comprehensive marketing plan budget for each division for advertising, PR, trade shows, direct mail and literature development. Other responsibilities include advertising, PR, trade shows, direct mail, promotional literature and price lists, new brochures, literature maintenance. With your good communication skills both verbal and written you will support our outside Sales representatives, monitor competitor activity, help with lead generation and follow up including distribution of leads to sales. Responsibilities also include managing the overall communication for LPS and maintaining the phone and voice mail system. B.S. Graphic Design Manager

We are currently looking for a Graphics Manager to preflight incoming art work, producing proofs for customer approval from supplied disk or laser, recreate customer art and make changes accordingly. Price all work for art, color, type, position and sizes. Must have supervisory skills, be able to communicate with vendors and meet deadlines. Should have at least two years experience with MAC art programs and experience dealing with plates and printing. Should also have experience with Quark, Illustrator Photoshop, Freehand. Customer Service Representative/Estimator

Respond to customer requests and questions regarding service, products and account information. Enter sales orders, price quotations, and customer claims into the system. Troubleshoot and resolve routine customer complaints, respond to questions on stock orders and custom order. Must use excellent communication skills to keep Office Manager, Product Supervisor, and Outside Sales Force informed of pending order and quotation flow. Estimator

We are currently seeking an Estimator with a Customer Service background, flexible packaging experience a plus, to look at customer job specifications and determine pricing for customer quotes. Responsibilities also include acting as primary liaison and problem solver with customers, working with Purchasing to handle division related Purchasing, consult with Production Supervisor on order scheduling, stay up to date on all inventory levels. Examine costs and make suggestions on cost containment/reduction via P&L review, accounting date etc. If you have excellent communication skills, excellent math skills and an ability to understand customers' needs and requirements and relate to production processes along with being computer literate please send your resume to bsenzer@lpsind.com
