USA based LPS Industries has launched a line of 'attention grabbing' pouch packaging designed for seafood, prepared seafood and seafood additives. The pouches for refrigerated and frozen seafood come in clear, opaque, windowed and recloseable options, and are made to perform at low temperatures without fracturing. Trap and reverse print options ensure that the print quality is maintained under rigorous storage and handling conditions, LPS says. The company has also introduced pouches for seafood additives, condiments, spices and breading. These feature high impact graphics, including brilliant metallic and foil laminations, and deliver a memorable attention grabbing presence on store shelves, according to the company. Most pouches are available with an LPS zippered reclosable option. A feature of the zipper is a hermetic seal that is said to provide extra product protection.
